Rotary Vendor Village Not To Be Missed Wednesday, April 5, 2017
Be sure to check out the additional food vendors during Sydney Ribfest as there may be a treat or two that captures your fancy! Think refreshments like freshly squeezed lemonade or tasty whole roasted corn on the cob – or that “bloomin onion” that you have once a year! Beavertails have proven to be a favorite and there is always the reliable fairground treats of cotton candy, candy apples and popcorn.
These items and more are made available by several travelling vendors who travel to Ribfests across the region and country. This year visitors to Sydney Ribfest can expect to enjoy the offerings of:
- Alabama Freshly Squeezed Lemonade
- The Corn Shack
- Tatar King
- Beaver Tails
- Treat Truck
- Jolly Rancher Slushies
Rotary Vendor Village
2017 will see the expansion of a marketplace filled with local vendors who offer local fare and products to enjoy on and off site. 2016 saw visitors enjoy food, fudge and flowers as well as browse and buy home, beauty, craft and pet products.
Additional displays and promotional events will be provided by local businesses as well – clearly, there will be no shortage of things to see and do during your time at Open Hearth Park on July 14, 15 and 16!
Check here often to see who will comprise this year’s group of great local entrepreneurs delivering the best of Cape Breton products, food and experiences for you and your family to enjoy.
