The Rotary Clubs of CBRM believe in putting community first. For that reason, and in the interest of our collective health and safety, the Clubs have decided it is not feasible to hold Rotary’s Ribfest this summer.
This decision was not made easily or lightly, but it is the right one. In these uncertain times, it became very clear that it was not possible to plan for a safe and successful event this summer.
We sincerely want to thank everyone who has supported us for the past five years. In that time, we have raised more than $300,000 for our featured charities, and almost $64,000 for the Rotary Clubs of Cape Breton.
We are truly grateful to our sponsors, our volunteers, the participating vendors, the ribbers and of course, everyone in this amazing community who took the time to attend our family-focused event each year.
We are already planning for 2021, and can’t wait to welcome you back. Until then, stay safe. Practice physical distancing and be kind to one another.
Five of North America’s best ribbers will take to Sydney’s Open Hearth Park during the weekend, along with vendors, children’s entertainment, a beer tent and live Cape Breton entertainment on the main stage.
